Specialty divisions encompass a range of individual and small group competitive divisions.

Rules

General Guidelines

  • Individual and duo routines should be a maximum of 1 min 30 sec with no minimum.
  • All stunt routines should be a maximum of 1 min with no minimum.
  • All specialty division routines must be performed with music.
  • All specialty division routines must follow IASF general safety guidelines as well as level rules.
  • Tiny competitors follow Level 1 IASF rules.
  • Mini competitors follow Level 1 or 2 IASF rules, dependent on division.
  • Youth competitors follow Level 3 or Youth 5 IASF rules, dependent on division
  • Junior and Senior all star competitors follow Level 3 or Level 5 IASF rules
  • Primary to senior school competitors follow Level 3 or Level 4 CE school rules
  • International Open competitors follow International Open 5 or 6 IASF rules dependent on division.

Individual Competition

  • All routines must include:
    • Dance
    • Jumps
    • Tumbling

Duo Competition

  • All routines must include:
    • Dance
    • Jumps
    • Tumbling
    • Stunts will only be evaluated under choreography (ie double cartwheels, etc) and must follow the IASF stunt rules for the level entered.

Group Stunt Competition

  • Limited to five persons per group
  • A spotter may be present on the floor but is not permitted to touch the stunt unless required to ensure the safety of the athletes.
    • Note: Spotters must sign medical waiver before entering the warm-up gym
    • Non-stunt choreography will not be evaluated.

Partner Stunt competition

  • Limited to two persons per group
  • A spotter may be present on the floor but is not permitted to touch the stunt, except during dismounts where an additional spotter is required.
    • Note: Spotters must sign medical waiver before entering the warm-up gym
    • Non-stunt choreography will not be evaluated.

Hybrid Stunt competition

  • Limited to five persons per group, maximum of 2 males
  • A spotter may be present on the floor but is not permitted to touch the stunt unless required to ensure the safety of the athletes.

    • Non-stunt choreography will not be evaluated.
